HTC EVO 4G Gets Android 2.3 Gingerbread On June 6

Great news! The HTC EVO 4G is going to get Android 2.3 Gingerbread after only 3 days, on the June 6.

The past week was full of Gingerbread updates. We have already talked about the update of the Droid Pro, as you probably remember. After it, just in a day the Droid X got the update, too. But you can be sure that it is not the last update, new ones will come for sure. Let us wait for another train of Gingerbread update to arrive!

And now it is time for the HTC EVO 4G. On June 2 Sprint confirmed that from June 6 the EVO will start receiving updates automatically over-the-air.

You think 3 days are too long? Maybe some of you can’t wait till June 6? And hence the good news start; from June 3 users can initiate the update process by tapping their way to settings >> System Updates >> HTC Software Updates.
