Huawei is the only Chinese smartphone maker known in the Western market. Its most popular device is the Huawei Ascend P1, which is very slim and sports many features that don’t yield to the specs found on the leading smartphones. It’s been even included in the list of Best 6 Least Known but Worthy Smartphones. Such a handset just can’t stay in the shadow for a long time, so it’s quite reasonable that EE announced the Huawei Ascend P1 LTE will be launched in the UK. Neither pricing, nor availability were disclosed.
Back in March Huawei announced it would bring this awesome handset to Asian and European markets but no one believed it would firstly appear in the UK. EE, formerly known as Everything Everywhere, has already confirmed this phone will be one of the first LTE devices to hit the country, and as EE has exclusive rights on LTE network in the UK, we assume the Huawei Ascend P1 will be available only via this service.

As to the phone itself, it was announced at CES and sports a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, a 2000mAh battery, a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass and an 8MP camera with dual LED flash, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
