The Huawei Ascend P1 was a real boom when it was announced. Though it carries a Chinese brand, which is not that attractive for Americans and Europeans, this phone really deserves a worthy treatment because it’s one of the thinnest smartphones in the globe — thinner than the Motorola Droid RAZR. At the moment, the Oppo Finder is recognized as the thinnest device in the world but the Ascend P1 yields it in 0.03mm. But if this feature is not enough for you to switch to Huawei from your top branded handset, then I have to attract you with the follow-up to this phone, the Huawei Ascend 2600mAh P1 XL, which as its name suggests, will sport twice bigger battery.

The Huawei Ascend P1 XL will be launched in China and other Asian markets later this summer. But there is no word whether we can get our hands on this awesome device if we live in the North America or Europe. It will be great if one of the retailers manages to bring it to the West because local users need more battery life than current Android handsets offer. I guess it’s time to take a look at other branded handsets with the same features, isn’t it?
