The Samsung Galaxy Note is not alone in the phablet market because several months ago LG introduced its own phablet dubbed as the LG Optimus Vu. This smartphone is known for its unusual 4:3 aspect ratio screen but there are many other amazing features that helped the company sell almost 500.000 items in South Korea. All in all, this phone has been launched only in two countries, in LG’s homeland and Japan but we knew it would one day arrive in the US. Now it’s high time to uncover all cards because the phone has already got FCC approval and the only unknown info refers to the deal details.

Droid life has been sent a screenshot, which shows Verizon will launch an LG Intuition smartphone with a 5-inch display for $199.99 on contract. Undoubtedly, it’s the same LG Optimus Vu renamed for the US launch. No second thought is needed to be sure we are dealing with that 4:3 inch handset because you simply won’t find another smartphone in LG’s portfolio sporting such a display.

The price is rather high but you should be ready for this because the LG Intuition is a high-end device with attractive specs. Those who want to pick it up without any commitment have to pay the entire retail price,  that is $549.99.
