LG’s Optimus series include a number of really popular smartphones. For example, remember the LG Optimus 3D, which can be compared even with the iPhone 4. Now I want to introduce another handset packed with great features giving the phone an opportunity to compete with the HTC Runnymede or the Motorola Dinara. All these handsets have not been launched yet, so it is fair to put them in a comparison, right?

The new LG Optimus will boast a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, the first 4.5-inch IPS HD LCD (1280×720) display, an 8MP rear and a 2MP front cameras. It will run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but the most attractive thing in it is the fact it will be playing on Verizon’s LTE network.

This is for the first time when an Optimus-branded smartphone is getting an LTE specification, so I guess this is another key to the phone’s success. Anyway, the features we’ve met are perfect and I guess LG can make some competition to HTC,which seems to have taken all card in its hand.
