The Motorola Defy+ is officially announced! This dust-proof and water resistant Android smartphone is the successor of the well-known Motorola Defy.
Before introducing its specs and features I would like to talk about its availability. So guys, the Motorola Defy+ is planned to go on sale in ‘early fall’ in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

The Motorola Defy+ is based on a 1GHz OMAP 3620 Texas Instruments processor instead of the 800MHz OMAP 3610 CPU of the older version and runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS.
The Motorola Defy+ has a 3.7-inch Gorilla Glass enhanced display the resolution of which is 854 x 480 pixels. It also supports a 5MP auto-focus camera that really catches high-quality photos.

The other features include Motoblur UI, 2GB of on-board memory and a microSD card slot (the phone supports up to 32GB.
The smartphone also features HSDPA, FM radio, GPS, a 3.5mm headset jack, a micro USB 2.0, 802.11 Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth.
Its 1700 mAh battery provides up to 7.1 hours of talk-time and 16 days in standby mode.
