I bought a pink Nokia N8 a week ago and liked it very much — both the stunning design and the high-end specs. But today I was reading some gadget news, and saw… the pink Nokia N9 that was introduced in Singapore during the Nokia Connection! And now I don’t know whether to be happy or sad… Maybe I hurried to by the N8, maybe I should have waited a little more, and I would be able to buy this cool, cool MeeGo-based N9…
The new Nokia N9 will come with a 3.9-inch curved glass AMOLED display the resolution of which is 854 x 480 pixels. It will have a front-facing camera for video calls and an 8MP rear-facing camera with dual LED flash with Carl Zeiss optics. It will also feature 720p video recording, too.
This pure touch smartphone is based on a 1GHz TI OMAP 3630 processor and sports 16GB/64GB of onboard storage, 1GB of RAM, and runs MeeGo 1.2 OS.

This is not all — the Nokia N9 will provide Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Headphone. It will have support for NFC capabilities, GPS, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a micro USB port, Bluetooth 2.1, and a 1450 mAh battery.
The new Nokia MeeGo smartphone will be available in black, pink and blue.

It will work in the quad-band GSM, penta-band WCDMA, and has a 14.4Mbps HSDPA support. The dimensions of the smartphone are 116.45 x 61.2 x 12.1 mm, and its weight is 135 grams.

Let’s have patience and wait for the new Nokia N9 to be launched. It will be available this year. Maybe I’ll really buy it despite the fact that I have the Nokia N8…
