The Samsung Galaxy Note is the only smartphone that sports a 5.3-inch touchscreen. That’s why some call it a phablet — a combination of smartphone and tablet. Anyway, this niche still needs competitors for the Galaxy Note, otherwise the monopoly of this device will lead to slow progress. This problem is obvious but smartphone and tablet makers do not hurry to design similar devices, while Samsung likes to alert the Note. Recently the manufacturer announced the phablet will be launched in different colors. Unfortunately, this news referred only to Korea but seems some parts of Europe will get it as well.
The info concerns the UK consumers where the berry pink Note will be launched in June. No certain launch date is mentioned and no price is disclosed. But considering the original sells very well Carphone Warehouse (the exclusive seller of the phone) won’t require a small amount.
The Galaxy Note is packed with a 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, an 8MP camera with a LED flash on back and a 2MP camera for video calling on front. The Galaxy Note 5.3 also supports HSPA+ and LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and runs Android 2.3.
