Sony’s Xperia PLAY is not alone anymore. Moreover, Sony has announced it will bring PlayStation to all possible devices. The manufacturer, which ventures to launch a similar gaming smartphone either wins the jackpot or stays out in the cold. Samsung is not from those who fear, so a gaming device from this manufacturer was rather expected.
As Engadget reports, Samsung will launch a gaming smartphone called the Galaxy Player 5.8. Most likely, it will take place at IFA 2012, so we don’t have to wait long. The Samsung Galaxy Player 5.8 will sport a list of top-end features, which will make the Galaxy S III look a bit obsolete.

It will come with a 5.8-inch 960 x 540 LCD screen, 16GB or 32GB of built-in storage, a microSD slot, a front VGA camera, a huge 2,500mAh battery, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box.
Unfortunately, the processor, launch date and pricing still remain unknown. In all probability, we’ll learn about them at IFA.
