We have already talked about the Samsung Galaxy S II i9100 and that it is going to be launched in Germany for the price of $785. And now, in South Korea Samsung announced the sequel of its Galaxy S smartphone, and as we have already mentioned, the smartphone is the Samsung Galaxy S II i9100.

So we have some awesome smartphones to wait for in the nearest future — the iPhone 4, the HTC Sensation, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and the Samsung Galaxy S II i9100. Manufactures say that the Samsung Galaxy S II i9100 will be available in 120 countries via 140 famous mobile operators. In South Korea the device will be introduced via three major carriers — SKT, KT and LGU+. The price for the device will be $786.

The specifications of the smartphone are quite impressive. From our post about the Samsung Galaxy S II i9100 we know that the device is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs Android 2.3 OS. One of the high-end features of the device is the 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, which is very attractive. Among the other features of the device is the 8 MP camera with full HD video recording capability.

And the line of features of the smartphone is continued by Bluetooth 3.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, full HD playback, TouchWiz UX with LivePanel, DMB, and a 1650mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy S II i9100 via SKT and KT supports HSPA+21 Mbps and has NFC capabilities. And as for the LG U+ variant, it works in EVDO Rev. B 9.3Mbps.
