Samsung SCH-W999 Clamshell / Candybar Smartphone

A new clamshell Android device is going to be released by Samsung in China. The new flip phone is the Samsung SCH-W999 which is the successor of the Samsung Samsung SCH-W899.
The users of the Samsung Samsung SCH-W999 can enjoy the device both in a clamshell and candybar forms.
The specs and the features of the Samsung SCH-W999 are quite nice you know. Let us discuss them and see whether you like it or not.

The Samsung SCH-W999 runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. It comes with two OLED-based WVGA displays the resolution of which is 800 x 480 pixels. I think you already guess that the two OLED-based displays  of the device will make the look of the Samsung SCH-W999 even more fantastic.
Among the other features of the new clamshell Android smartphone are Bluetooth 3.0, dual-band WiFi 802.11b/g/n, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), built-in GPS receiver and dual cameras. It weighs around 200 grams.

According to some rumors, the Samsung SCH-W999 will be launched via China Telecom carrier like its predecessor the Samsung SCH-W899.
As for the price of the device, there is still no info.  Hope some news about it will appear soon.
