It seems like Nokia is full of surprises this year. The company is going to organize some mysterious joint event with Microsoft, and there is a chance that the companies will introduce the first Windows Phone-based smartphone manufactured by Nokia (though many people say no new Nokia phones are going to be shown on that day). The event will take place on August 17, at the GamesCom exhibition in Cologne.
The invitations to the event say that the visitors will get “exciting moments and surprises” that will make this evening unforgettable. However, no one knows what they mean yet. Maybe they mean the raffle that’s going to be organized during the event — it will give you a chance to win one of three Nokia’s upcoming devices or an Xbox360.
What else will we see during the event? Will Nokia’s first WP-based smartphone really be introduced? We’ll find it out soon, on August 17. So don’t plan anything else on that day.
