I like to surf on the net and find different unknown brands that offer high-end devices. Today my choice stopped at the Xiaomi Phone 2, because it is real and sold at a price you can never imagine.

Before I’ll introduce this perfect top-end smartphone, I want you to know the original Xiaomi Phone was launched earlier this year and succeeded. That’s why the company decided to continue this lineup, and I have to say looking at such unknown but worthy devices I honestly want to own one. The only preventing factor is the fear of bad software.

Well, let’s look at the stunning specs list of the Xiaomi Phone 2 because it’s the Chinese competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S III and HTC One X. Moreover, I think it’s better than the aforementioned two Android monsters. The Xiaomi Phone 2 sports a 4.3-inch IPS-LCD 720p display with 342ppi pixel density, a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 chipset, an 8MP camera like those found on the iPhone 4S and the Samsung Galaxy S III, 2GB of RAM, a 2000mAh battery, but if the 2mm thickness is not a problem, you can buy a 3000mAh battery as well. The phone runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the phone’s MIUI ROM. It has several new features like enhanced security, phone finder, Chinese voice assistant, more interactive themes and 5GB of cloud storage service with online client. The Xiaomi Phone 2 supports 850/1900/2100 MHz UMTS and has a 42Mbps HSPA+ radio, thus it can work with T-Mobile’s network.

The smartphone has been priced ¥1,999 (about $310), which is too cheap in comparison with the iPhone 4S and the Samsung Galaxy S III. Moreover, China Unicom and China Telecom will also offer it at subsidized prices. The supposed launch date is October.
